Oxidative
Stress
Oxidative stress is the culprit behind sagging skin, aches
and pains associated with aging and just plain looking older. I
don't like what oxidative stress does to my body. I want to be
young forever although I do like the wisdom that comes with
age.
When were young our bodies fight off the free radical damage
but as we age due to increased oxidative
stress we are not able to produce enough of the antioxidant
enzymes that plays a major role in neutralizing the
cell-damaging free radicals associated with aging and a variety
of health conditions.
If your approaching 40 then you are beginning to see signs
of this oxidative stress, over 50 and
your still cruising cool but fast approaching old fart hood and
if your over 60 then you are reminded every morning when you
get out of bed what the free radicals are doing to your
body.
Rome wasn't built in a day and free radicals don't ravish
your body in a day either. The best time to start prevention is
as soon as you can but the sad part is that most of us don't
realize what's happening until we wake up one morning, take
time to take a closer look and discover:
-
- A little sag here
- A bulge there
- A sore muscle
- Need I go on?
That's the bad news but there is good news. You hands are
not tied behind your back. There are things you can do to
combat oxidative stress.
- Take a good quality
Krill Oil Daily Supplement. Krill oil has up to 50
times more oxidative stress fighting antioxidant's than
regular fish oil.
- Get outdoors and enjoy nature. I know they have said
for a few years now that the sun is bad for you but studies
have been done that completely refute that claim. You need
the vitamin D and all the other goods things you get from
being outside. Use common sense though, don't stay out
until your baked through and through.
- Use good Quality Cosmetics to
protect your skin. Be particular don't buy junk!
Invest in yourself.
- Keep calm. We put more oxidative stress on ourselves
when we worry especially sweating the small things in life.
Loosen up - your body will love it.
Bottom line:
If you let it oxidative stress will take it's toll on your
body! You are the only one who can do anything about it. There
is no magic pill or bullet, just good common sense options we
can take advantage off.
